     The fourth council was changed in June, 2017, and has gone through a five-year process. In the past 5 years, we have always adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, comprehensively strengthened the leadership of the Party, adhered to sincere service, and further expanded the scale of membership.By the end of May 2022, the number of member units of the association had reached 545, an increase of 126% over the previous session. Among them, there were 371 member units of civil airports, an increase of 106% over the previous session; 174 non airport members, an increase of 190% over the previous year. Especially since the outbreak of COVID-19, the airport association has worked with its members to overcome the difficulties, solidly carried out the special action of "I reduce the burden on members", and actively reduced and exempted more than 10million yuan of various funds for members. Held three public lectures on standardization of epidemic prevention and control ability of airport front-line staff; The technical guide for the normalization and control of the COVID-19 in China's civil airports was published in full on the official website of ACI and the official website of CAAC. It shared the experience of China's airports in fighting the COVID-19, expanded the international influence of Civil Aviation of China, and was highly recognized by the industry management department and the majority of members. In 2021, it was awarded the title of "national advanced social organization" by the Ministry of civil affairs.

    In particular, since the outbreak of COVID-19, the airport association has taken active action and made important contributions to coping with the impact of COVID-19, promoting the relief of enterprises and restoring the development of the industry. Dongzhiyi pointed out that the 14th five year plan period is a key stage for China to transition and advance from a single air transport power to a multi sector civil aviation power. At present, the national airports have anchored the strategic goal of building a strong civil aviation country in the new era, and continue to promote the development of airport work in accordance with the general working idea of one, two, three, three, four civil aviation during the "14th five year plan" period. Doing a good job during the 14th five year plan period will create extremely favorable conditions for China to form a modern comprehensive airport system with complete layout, complete functions, strong support, wisdom and efficiency by 2035, so as to make the Four characteristics airport a universal form, and the airport support capacity and development quality reach the world-class level.
