With the joint efforts of many parties, in 2017, Civil Aviation of China announced the HUD RVR 150-meter take-off standard at 8 airports including the capital. Jinan and Urumqi airports have been used in practice, highlighting its value in improving the normality of outbound flights and providing passengers with For more travel convenience and better travel experience, it is widely praised. In view of this, "continue to deepen the HUD low-visibility operation and standard publication" has been included as one of the main tasks of the Civil Aviation Administration's safety work this year. According to the Civil Aviation Administration's plan, Capital Airport took the lead in launching the HUD RVR 90-meter takeoff pilot. At present, the preliminary preparations are basically in place, and the Flight Standards Department of the Civil Aviation Administration has decided to officially launch the pilot project.

At the meeting, the North China Air Traffic Management Bureau introduced the Capital Airport ILS equipment and calibration, ground communication and surveillance, etc.; HUD standard announcement, Class III modified flight procedures and obstacle evaluation; Capital Airport low visibility procedures and air traffic control operation guarantees. The Capital Airport introduced its lighting transformation, ground taxi guidance and control, low visibility procedures and ground operation guarantees. Relevant experts introduced the relevant requirements for HUD RVR 90-meter takeoff, and Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, and Shandong Airlines respectively introduced their low-energy operation capabilities and operational requirements. At the meeting, various issues that need to be resolved were discussed and the work schedule was clarified.
